Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: Where is your master plan to reverse your decline?

Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: Where is your master plan to reverse your global decline?

We certainly documented your decline and how it will affect Western countries. You have given no credible disputation of this matter. We also documented the growth of creationism within Western countries. So, what are you going to do about it?

So many times I have heard about the supposed intellectual superiority of your communities, yet when the water gets rough, you don't seem to have back up plans.

Furthermore, you seem incapable of coming up with an effective plan to reverse things. Given that you always prattle on about supposed advanced cultures on other planets, I would have thought if you were serious that you not only would have a global plan for the evolutionist community, but a plan for the entire universe as well! You seem to have neither! Needless to say, I am not surprised that you cannot satisfactorily answer the 15 questions for evolutionists.

You are all in denial or have come to the realization that it is impossible to oppose God and win. I am not impressed with your intellectual prowess - quite the opposite really. God has immensely more power and wisdom than all the members of your communities combined and we both know it.

5 important issues relating to atheism, agnosticism and evolutionism

In recent posts, we covered these 5 important areas:

1. The most ardent defenders of evolutionism have historically been atheists and their ideological cousins agnostics. The most effective way to combat atheism/agnosticism is to attack evolutionism as it cuts off their ideological supply lines.

2. Decline of global atheism and agnosticism in terms of adherents and its expected significant impact on Western atheism and evolutionism. As Professor Eric Kaufmann declared to a secular audience: "The trends that are happening worldwide inevitably in an age of globalization are going to affect us."

3. Lack of leadership capabilities within world atheism/agnosticism

4. Global Christianity and creationism is growing and increasing challenging Darwinism and Darwinist theology in places such as North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

5. Christians and Christian creationist are increasingly using the internet in terms of evangelism and have ambitious plans for the future. They are obtaining excellent results. There are Christians in the Western World who have a global plan to spread Christianity. Atheism has expended significant effort in the past via the internet with little to show for it. In addition, the atheist internet community has been in a 4 year slump in terms of web traffic. Furthermore, there is a lack of strong leadership within the atheist community.

If you haven't read these post, they can be found at:

Down with evolutionism! Down with atheism! Creationism is up!

Atheists and evolutionists: What is your global master plan to reverse things?

Atheists and agnostics tend to tilt towards the left politically (Historically, they have embraced communism, socialism and liberalism). In addition, leftists tend to be globalist and less nationalistic. In addition, they tend to work with each other across the globe.

So evolutionists, atheists and agnostics, where is your plan to reverse things? Where are the plans of notable atheists, agnostics and evolutionists or notable organizations representing these communities?

The Birkbeck College, University of London professor Eric Kaufmann using a multitude of demographic studies argues in an academic paper entitled Shall the Righteous Inherit the Earth? Demography and Politics in the Twenty-First Century the decline of atheism in terms of its global adherents is an established trend that will persist for the foreseeable future and the rate of decline will accelerate and affect the Western World. See: Why are the years 2012 and 2020 key years for Christian creationists and pro-lifers?

By in large, these outspoken evolutionists are awfully silent about the aforementioned decline: Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennette, Penn Jillette, Eugenie Scott, Dan Barker, atheists and agnostics in academia, evolutionists in academia, British Humanist Society, National Academies of Sciences, National Center for Science Education, evolution promoting natural science journals, evolution promoting social science journals, evolution leaning journalists, American Atheists, YouTube atheists Thunderf00t and TheAmazingAtheist, Matt Dillahunty, the Skepchick community, prominent French evolutionists and atheists/agnostics, prominent secularist Europeans in other countries, Chinese communists and others. Why are all these outspoken people suddenly so silent?

And the cursory treatment of this issue by atheists PZ Myers and Nigel Barber were absolutely a joke. Barber confidently proclaimed that atheism would prevail against religion by 2038 without providing detailed analysis. It's almost as if he picked the year 2038 out of a hat! I mean why not 2040? See: Atheism is rudderless and unseaworthy

Even the immensely weird and bellicose North Korean atheists and communists are silent about this matter. Recently, I saw a documentary on North Korea and the narrator for that documentary said that North Korea was the weirdest place on earth. I said to myself, the most friendly land towards atheism and evolutionism and the most unfriendly land towards biblical Christianity is also the weirdest. Go figure!

North Korea is a surreal country abounding in phoniness and propaganda. Sounds a lot like the ideologies of atheism and evolutionism, doesn't it? Given the bizarre behavior of many atheists/agnostics and evolutionists that I have seen, I cannot say that I am surprised.

The silence the militant evolutionists is absolutely deafening. Cat got your tongue evolutionists? Of course, even if you were to come up with a plan in spite of all the evidence that it would not work, we all know it would fail miserably, don't we?

Evolutionists, why are you going to be so late in talking about these growing problems as a whole? Is it due to: pride, thoughtlessness, denialism, complacency, ignorance and a growing realization that you cannot win?

"Deal with a thing while it is still nothing.” - Lao Tzu

"He who excels at resolving difficulties does so before they arise.” - Sun Tzu

Of course, deep down dogmatic evolutionists know that evolutionism is pseudoscience so a a sacrificial and heroic effort is not in the cards, is it? Sullenly taking your lumps is about the best you can do at this point.

  1. I believe no such plan will be suggested because I would suggest the premise is flawed.

I appreciate you have constructed data but, given the nature of this site, it seems more to appease yourselves than to convince anyone else. I think the non-religious are happy to sit quietly because they know religions will die out, fortunately. It's just a matter of 'when'.

Any attempt to form data of our own would seem petty in light of this inevitability. Of course, you'll suggest we're wrong and attempt to engage us but it's really unnecessary. It's just unfortunate that you probably won't live long enough to see your religion disappear.

The UK, at least, is growing more and more non-religious every year, which is where I live.

    1. When it comes to legitimate information showing atheism/agnosticism/evolution in a bad light, there is often a cry of foul, yet no compelling data is offered in refutation.

Of course, the same applies to pointed questions relating to these ideologies.

You offered no rebuttal from a global perspective using legitimate data.

You are definitely going to need to step up your game if you want your next comment published.

  2. Hey

I just happened across this website, and I've no interest in this particular ideological battle. I would probably say that I am agnostic, I really don't care one way or the other, and I certainly don't lose an sleep over it. But I find myself compelled to post a quick comment.

I resently watch the very excellent document 'Fog of War' in which former Secretary of Defence Robert McNamara shares the lessons that he learnt during the wars he was involved in. One of the lessons he highlighted was to always, no matter what, maintain the ability to empathise with your enemy. I feel like the tone taken in this blog is very combative and, to be honest, a little snarky. It's like a high-school 'throw down' in which someone is trying to egg the other one on. Except, I get the feeling, and this is particularly exacerbated by the aggressive tone of the site, that you're shouting at a small number of individuals. There are some atheists, granted, who have also taken a combative and snarky tone, but (and from an entirely subjective viewpoint) I don't see how the vast majority could be characterised like this. Just as I don't believe all Christians would feel well represented by the tone on this site. Atheism will never have the same sense of community and history that religions do. It is just not that sort of thing, and attacking it seems a little naive.

Anyway, I really don't feel like this site is even trying to be constructive, it's just pointing and jeering because of how it reads the situation and trends. Surely this might come across as immature to anyone, know matter what their take on the debate.

    Just my two cents.

    Peace

    1. A few points:

      1. Thanks for the friendly tone.

      2. Although agnostics sometimes indicate they are neutral, this is not the case. Jesus said, "He who is not with me is against me". Agnostics are generally going to side with evolutionists, atheists and agnostics.

      3. King Solomon said that that there is a time and season for everything. The Bible reflects this attitude also. For example, the prophet Elijah jeered the false prophets of Baal. On the other hand, the Apostle Paul was an effective ambassador for Christ and could be very diplomatic at times.

Between my last blog post and before reading your comment, I had decided to make future blog posts more matter of fact while sometimes employing some humor and sarcasm (but not in a caustic manner). I intend to largely employ this new tone for at least a season and perhaps permanently. I don't regret my former tone, I just think it is time for a new season in terms of tone.

With that being said, you do have to admit that North Korea is the most atheism/evolution friendly and creation unfriendly place on the planet and a good case can be made that it is also the weirdest place on the planet. I don't believe this is an accident and my friend told me he enjoyed this post.

Also, if you are honest, you also have to admit that atheism and agnosticism lack effective leadership and by in large these communities are not addressing the issue of their global decline and the effect it will have it will have on the Western World which is starting already. Of course, I am not losing any sleep over this matter even if I thought they could effectively address this matter (which I don't think is the case).

      4. All false ideologies are able to be effectively conquered and history is littered with false ideologies which are defunct or have been greatly reduced in terms of their adherents. Atheism and agnosticism are no different and globally they are losing adherents and market share. There is no reason this process cannot be accelerated. A good case can be made that confronting evolutionary pseudoscience and increasing Christian evangelism are both effective means of reducing atheism and agnosticism in the world. Biblical Christianity and creationism are growing in many places in the world and this blog has documented this matter.

    2. Hi

Thanks for the reply. As I said, this sort of ideological battle doesn’t really engage me particularly so I don’t expect to be back here much. However, I just want to reply quickly to your points:

      1. Thank you also. Polite conversation on the internet is more endangered than atheism (haha, see what I did there?).

      2. Thanks for letting me know that I’m ‘against’ Jesus. I wasn’t previously aware that I had a position. I guess I’ll continue my stand of passive resistance.

      3. I understand the difficulty in settling on a tone or the need to use different approaches at different times. A bit of hyperbole and humour goes a long way to making something interesting. A healthy balance of content and delivery is very difficult to achieve, so good luck!

In my previous comment I said that ‘Atheism will never have the same sense of community and history that religions do. It is just not that sort of thing, and attacking it seems a little naive.’ I would hazard that the ‘lack of effective leadership’ is more reflective of a very different community base than for most religions.

      4. I guess, as in all things, time will tell. I would caution against assuming that the data you have presents a clear window into the future. The world is an incredibly complex system and forecasting is not made any easier by the wealth of information available. Speaking of wealth for example, there is broadly (so yes, there are innumerable exceptions) a negative correlation between wealth and religion, just as there is a negative correlation between wealth/secularism and birth-rates. So the aggregate wealth of the world’s population over the next 30-40 years could end up playing a major role in determining the relative populations of religious and non-religious peoples. Then again, it could end up having almost nothing to do with it. Always be very careful with how you read the future, causality is more complex than we can imagine.

Anyway, all the best and I hope your campaign is a rewarding experience.

      Peace

    3. Rory,

      1. Rebelling/resisting the will of God is sinning which is done through acts of commission and acts of omission. I am sure there are evil acts you have done in your past. Lying, cheating, unkind words, etc. etc. People who don't love God also fail to live up to sinless perfection when it comes to their fellow man.

      2. No human being has access to perfect information, but that doesn't prevent intelligent analysis of data and the formulation of effective strategies based on the data you have collected using due diligence.

Christians have been for more intelligent in spreading Christianity than atheists/agnostics have been on the whole. Notable examples of this are the: Joshua Project, Network211, Global Media Outreach, etc. Atheism and agnosticism have nothing comparable. Besides having errant worldviews, atheists/agnostics possess worldviews which are shrinking in the world in terms of adherents and I think using the same tired approaches and ineffective arguments is partly to blame.

In addition, flexibility/adaptability is important in many human endeavors, so changes in approaches can always be thoughtfully considered.

  3. "Evolutionists, atheists and agnostics: Where is your master plan to reverse your global decline?"

Atheism has no central organization or leadership. It is simply a perspective held by a disparate group of people from all walks of life. Your attempt to group all of them into a single, autonomous entity is confusing at best.

"You have given no credible disputation of this matter."

Again, who exactly are you addressing? Who is expected to provide this disputation - Richard Dawkins, Joe the Atheist from Idaho? Maybe you haven't received a satisfying answer because too few people read this blog. Anyways you don't seem to be looking for an answer - instead you ask the question to a practically empty room and declare the matter settled.

"You are all in denial or have come to the realization that it is impossible to oppose God and win."

It would not be possible to oppose God, even if he did exist. Atheism doesn't oppose God, it opposes errant human perception. Not sure what you mean by "win" - as in, the entire world becoming atheist? That would be nice, but I doubt most atheists would try and make that happen. That's not out of laziness, fear or lack of willpower, but a genuine lack of interest in telling other people what to think. A noble quality, in my view.

"Lack of leadership capabilities within world atheism/agnosticism."

Again, atheism is a philosophy, a uniquely personal one. It requires leadership no more than does existentialism, stoicism or any other idea that gives alternate meaning and purpose to life (or lack thereof). Certainly there are groups that seek to remove religion from the public sphere, but they speak for their fellow atheists as much as any Christian sect does for the whole.

"Global Christianity and creationism is growing and increasing challenging Darwinism and Darwinist theology in places such as North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa."

Places such as five out of seven continents? That's pretty broad. Anyway, Christianity did rule the civilized world for a time, a time called the Middle Ages. Anyone who would hope to return to that time is either a LARP fanatic, or mentally ill.

"Even the immensely weird and bellicose North Korean atheists and communists are silent about this matter."

North Korea doesn't promote atheism, but a replacement of religious idols with human ones - the cult of personality. In some cases who exactly people are forced to worship is essentially irrelevant.

And so on. All in all your post is simultaneously paranoid and dismissive about atheism, which makes for a very strange read indeed.

    1. Jesse,

Protestantism has no pope or central organization as well. However, it does have leaders in its various organizations and leading authors, academics, speakers, organizations, etc. etc. The same is true of atheism/agnosticism so your attempted rebuttal fails.

Atheists have a tendency to excuse their failures and engage in denialism which is not surprising as atheism is a failed attempt to avoid the responsibility of repenting a sin. Your post in indicative of this modus operandi.

Next, most creationists are Protestants and would take issue with your statement that Christianity ruled over the civilized world during the Middle Ages. I also suspect that there were large non-Christian civilized areas of the globe during the Middle Ages such as China and India so your historical analysis seems very weak. I have found that atheists are often very weak when it comes to history and theology and your comment to this blog post is not an exception to this observation.

Next, you are going to have to show me a credible source showing me that Stalinist/communist dictatorship of North Korea does not promote atheism before I would believe that. See: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/02/international/asia/02CND-KORE.html?ex=1380513600&en=a29d7f1e49aabee0&ei=5007&partner=USERLAND Stalin was an atheist and Stalinism is certainly atheistic.

  4. Winning against an imaginary perspective seems pointless at best. At most I would hope a majority could finally turn to the light and reject claims based on fantastical stories and magic and instead accept science and strongly evidenced theories.
It is unfortunate that science does not yet have all the answers. It allows you to pick an unsolved scientific query, demand an answer and when one isn't forth coming, bleat about how the whole house of cards falls down. It is the blessing of religious belief that you can fall back onto the 'God did it' claim and know that you can't be proven wrong.
A question to you: why christianity instead of any of the others out there? Judaism and Islam even have books of comparable depth and age. (I'm just curious, there is no hidden meaning here).

    1. Creation science does have compelling evidence (molecular machines point to designer, information in DNA code point to a designer, makes accurate predictions such as the fossil record consisting of gaps between kinds (where are the millions of expected missing link fossils, etc.).

You merely have blind natural forces of the gaps (origin of first life, etc.).

      Lastly, why Christianity is true:

      Evidence for Christianity

      More evidence for Christianity

Did Jesus rise from the dead? by Michael Horner

On the other hand, atheism has no proof and evidence that it is true.

  5. We atheists don't need to "worry" about our decline. Like me, most atheists have come to their own conclusions and feel little value in trying to spread their beliefs. What I think is my business, just as what you think is yours. Beside the fact that you are wrong when you say Atheism is on the decline. Here is direct proof.

    1. Rob,

      A few matters:

      1. You have no proof showing global atheism is on the rise and you also cite an unreliable source about another matter.

In short, you are being intellectually lazy and accepting a study without seeing its flaws/limitations. See: http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/08/another-major-flaw-found-in-survey.html

      2. Global atheism is shrinking, See: http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/05/globally-worldviews-of-atheism-and-non.html and http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/09/resources-on-rise-of-global.html

      3. Recently, internet atheism has shrunk. See: http://questionevolution.blogspot.com/2012/09/decline-of-internet-atheism-articles.html

      4. What proof and evidence do you have that atheism is true?

      5. Are you willing to debate one of our group members on the existence of God? Namely, the YouTuber Shockofgod?

The debate would be an oral debate and distributed to thousands of people.
